The raid targeted whitening creams being imported from China that were not approved by the FDA.
Edwin Sy, owner of Lam Kang Drug Store in Carriedo, said the sex enhancement pills are not being sold openly.
A day after the raid, an ABS-CBN News team conducted a surveillance on several other Chinese drug stores in Ongpin.
The news team found out that sale of the prohibited drugs continues.
An informant was able to buy a bottle of the sex pills for P150.
However, when the news crew asked South Asian Drug Store officials where the informant reportedly bought the pills, they denied selling such products.
An informant, “Totoy,” admitted using sex enhancement pills.
He claimed that the drugs prolong penile erection and foreplay between couples.
He said that he stopped using the drugs because of reported side effects.
